POSITION TITLE: GIS/TECHNICAL ANALYST
POSITION TYPE: FULL-TIME
LOCATION: LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA

ImageCat is looking for an entry-level candidate to provide GIS and technical support for its natural hazard disclosure division, PDQ Disclosure. Successful applicant will report to the PDQ Disclosure Sales Manager and will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of disclosure reports, research for pertinent information when required, and monitoring for changes to existing natural hazard layers. The position will be based at ImageCat’s US office in Long Beach, California.

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic applicants with GIS coursework and computer knowledge. Daily duties will include and are not limited to, natural hazard disclosure report processing, data digitization, spatial data management and GIS analysis. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication skills, as they will be an integral part of a small and dynamic team.

The successful candidate must have experience in the following areas:
- 1+ year(s) experience in using commercial GIS software packages
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong IT technical skills including file management
- Knowledge of computer networks
- Basic database skills

The following attributes are desirable, but non-essential:
- Basic scripting and web-programming

The expected start date of the post is immediate and pay is competitive.
