We are seeking Junior to Mid-Level environmental professionals with strong chemistry, geology and database skills (MS Access/SQL Server) to support the administration of our cutting-edge web-based environmental data and property management applications. All of our positions require sharp analytical, computer, organizational, presentation, and writing skills. Prospective employees must be dedicated to efficiency, innovation, integrity and teamwork. Candidates must also have a strong chemistry or earth science-based educational background and experience with relational database administration, design, and configuration. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills in many directions including database development and data warehouse design. Experience working in an Environmental Laboratory is preferred. ESSENTIAL SKILL SET: Environmental data (chemical, geologic & hydrogeologic) QA/QC and administration MS Access and/or SQL database QA/QC, querying, reporting and administration QA/QC of electronic data deliverables (EDDs) from environmental laboratories and parsing into database tables GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science, Chemistry, Geology or equivalent Knowledge of environmental cleanup processes and laboratory analytical processes Ability to work legally in the USA (No H1B or sponsorships) TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years work experience in the environmental consulting field. Environmental laboratory experience preferred 2+ years of database experience with Microsoft Access or SQL Server, including creating complex queries and reports Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) such as ArcGIS, ArcView 3.x a plus WORK ASSIGNMENT LOCATIONS: We are seeking candidates for work assignments in Richland, Washington (Code: 40RW) and Lake Forest, California (Code: 900LFC).
