GIS Technician | Glendale Area
A local utility company, is looking for a Geographical Information Systems professional for a long-term Temp / Contract position. Major responsibilities include: managing GIS layers, developing new databases, completing GIS assessments and generating maps. The candidate we select will know editing tools within ArcMap, converting between AutoCad files to shape files, integrating GIS into other applications, how to program tablets and laptop units, and GPS. This position will provide techncial assistance to the office staff; GIS experience within the water industry highly desired.
